James Frederick presents a new series of paintings that mark a distinct departure from the studio’s established approach. This body of work signifies a pivotal transformation in the artist's creative process, embracing an unrestricted freedom beyond conventional expectations. It reflects an evolution into a mode of expression unhindered by traditional aesthetics.

 

This collection represents the forthcoming phase in the career of the esteemed Provincetown artist, previously recognized for referential abstracts, seascapes, illustrations, and comics. Attendees are invited to join James Frederick for refreshments and a chat regarding his intentions to expand beyond the constraints of his previous studio practice.

 

Additionally, the title "Boundless" alludes to the enduring impact of art, highlighting how the intimate dialog between artist and canvas becomes a rich conversation for the collector - evoking memory, connection, dialogue, and interpretation.
